A traditionally great weekend regatta in the desert hosted by Viper Treasurer Tony Chapman.
Tempe/Phoenix, AZ…wonderful spots in the wintertime.
Join Class Treasurer Tony Chapman as he continues to lead the SoCal/Arizona crew in racing Vipers in the desert while fundraising for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society–a cause close to Tony’s heart. BTW, Tony has been a driving force for the Leukemia Cup these past years and has raised over $100,000 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Even if you can’t make the regatta, we should all throw a few dollars towards Tony’s find raising efforts.

I am hoping we get 20 Vipers racing. There will be the usual mini-bar (rum bar) on Friday night and this year we are taking it up a notch with BBQ and live music for the evening.

Despite what it says in this posting, the event will be sailed on Lake Pleasant about 45 minutes northwest of Phoenix. Timbo’s comment was that he didn’t think a Viper would fit on Tempe Town “Pond.” Go figure!
