Racing sailboats on Biscayne Bay in the winter has been described as, "practice for sailboat racing in heaven". This promises to be a well run regatta, in a beautiful venue, with warm, clear blue water and pretty reliable breeze. It will also be a great warm-up for the Atlantic Coast Championship at Charleston Race Week. If you're going to St. Pete NOOD and want to leave your boat in Miami afterwards for this event, storage can be arranged at Shake-a-Leg Miami a few hundred yards down the road, or the US Sailing Center right next door to the CRYC. There is storage available in Charleston if you want to leave your boat there until the ACC's. Read the NOR and print out an mail your entry form before January 31, when the late entry fee kicks in! |
