The 2008 Heineken High Performance Dinghy Open will be held over the Columbus Day holiday weekend, October 11 & 12. It is an awesome event and not to be missed.
A record turnout of boats is anticipated with strong participation from the K6, 505, FD, Viper and A-Cat classes. Other classes expected are I14, International Canoe, Fireball, 470 and maybe some Foiling Moths. PLEASE GET ENTRY FORMS IN THIS WEEKEND Heineken are sponsoring Photoboat. All competitors will receive a CD with event and individual boat pics. Heineken will also be providing free beers and event shirts. The late entry fee kicks in for all entries received after this weekend. If you are late your $20 late fee will go a charity supported by American YC.HEINEKEN have committed to producing the shirts for an expected entry of about 15 Viper 640s and of course enough beer to quench your thirst.
